NZ is getting a new track near Cromwell (Queenstown). The construction is well underway, and the TRS Series will have it’s second round held at this track on January 20-22 2013. Here is a little teaser of the track – note that the jump section will be removed….maybe…

The full track is 4.8km which will make it a kilo longer than Hampton Downs when HD is completed. So that is a full 2km further than HD is currently. So that’s an easy extra minute in lap time over HD current configuration…2:15-2:30 laps.
