Mitch Evans – confirmed in GP2 for 2013
Mitch Evans, the 2012 GP3 Champion, has been confirmed as driving for Arden in GP2 for 2013 (as of 30-odd minutes ago, so start the stop watches on NZ media picking this story up some time towards the end of next week….). Mitch drove for MW-Ardern GP3, claiming the championship in the final race of the final round. As part of the rules, series champions can not enter the series again and must either move up to GP2, or move along to another race series.
Mitchs’ team mate will be Johnny Cecotto Jnr. Cecotto finished 9th in the 2012 standings.
